Hi, my loves! So I’ve been obsessing over watching studio vlogs and I’ve attempted to create a few but with timing and editing, it can be very time-consuming! So I’ve decided that blog posts every other day, would be a great way to keep in touch. As many of you know I’ve been less active on social media as I used to be. This is mainly because of the horrible artist block curse and self-doubt that I’ve been going through. It’s just that sometimes you get so overwhelmed by everything around you and you start to overthink that your works not good enough or that somebody else is doing much better and that they will not want to see your work anymore. But the problem here is we forget that our followers and customers are following US because they like what WE do. And for that very reason, we shouldn’t compare our work to anyone else’s work because in all truth everybody thrives in their own time and we just have to be patient because our time will come. But after thinking and re-evaluating everything I’m so happy that I’ve been able to get my creative boost back. I honestly couldn’t have done it without taking a day or so off social media as well as having my sketchbook with me and having gone on a little trip with no distractions. This helped a lot as I was overflowing with creative ideas that weren’t pressured or forced but were coming into my mind purely from experiences and traveling and to have allowed my mind to wonder and not having constricted my creative ability to be adventurous but to have fun!

I’m so excited to get started on a new collection but before I do I’ve just been going through my Etsy store and rewriting the listings descriptions because they were just a giant pile of words that made no sense... sorry ha-ha. But having completed that I feel so much better, but onto other news, I shall be posting regular posts on the journey of my new collection on here and I cannot wait for it to be completed so I can finally share it with you all! P.S I bought a hobonichi weeks and there were many blank pages due to the previous months that have passed so I used that as a mini sketchbook to jot down my ideas!
